The Asprokremmos Dam is located near Kouklia village and around 16 kilometres from Paphos. The dam is the second largest dam in Cyprus after the Kouris dam in Limassol.

The general term "encumbrances" means all impediments which render impossible the transfer or the mortgage of property. Every encumbrance constituting a direct claim, or liability attached to an immovable property under the provisions of any law in force for the time being is called "encumbrance", while any forbidding, prevention or interdiction of any natural or legal person from transferring or mortgaging all or any of his immovable property under the provisions of any law in force for the time being is called "prohibition".

Ohi Day (also spelled Ochi Day, Greek: Επέτειος του «'Οχι» Epeteios tou "'Ohi", Anniversary of the "No") is celebrated throughout Greece, Cyprus and the Greek communities around the world on October 28 each year, to commemorate the rejection by Greek Prime Minister Ioannis Metaxas (in power from August 4, 1936, until January 29, 1941) of the ultimatum made by Italian dictator Benito Mussolini on October 28, 1940.

Apesia Village, sometimes pronounced Apeshia, is located in the Limassol District of Cyprus. It is around 16 kilometres north from Limassol on the route to the Troodos Mountains.
