Cans For Kids

Cans For Kids is a registered charity, formed in 1990 to organise the collection and recycling of aluminium cans in Cyprus. Over 20 Million cans have been collected so far, and over €250,000 has been donated to the Makarios Hospital in Nicosia, to purchase equipment for the childrens ward.

Riding For The Disabled  ( RDA EPISKOPI )

The RDA provides a full programme of riding, fund raising and outings for the disabled riders. The ages fof the riders vary form 4 - 47, and have physical and / or mental disabilities, that in some cases confines them to a wheelchair. Nevertheless, when mounted on a horse, their bodies seem to relax and produces smiles and sounds of joy from the youngsters.

The Friends Of The Paphos Hospice

The Friends Of the Pahos Hospice is an independent Registered Charity serving the population of Paphos and it's surrounding districts. It opened it's doors in April 2006 with 2 beds, and has since catered for more than 200 patients, over half of whom are Cypriots, the remaining being British and other nationalities.

The Ay Nik Stags RFC are located on the eastern side of Cyprus, close to the city of Famagusta. The stags RFC was originally set up in 1947 by British Military personnel serving on the island, and has been going strong ever since.

The Nicosia Barbarians RFC was founded during the winter of 2003 by a group of keen expatriates. The team has succesfully competed in the Joint Services Rugby Football Union League.

Paphos Tigers was established in 2003 and are the first independent club on Cyprus. Situated in Paphos, the club was founded by a group of Ex - Pat British & South African players. The club consists of 30 players, but are always on the look out  for new and upcoming players, or former players, who can assist with coaching, and last, but not least, sponsors.

Dhekelia Sailing Club, is an RYA affiliated dinghy sailing club, established primarily for the benefit of personnel attached to the Dhekelia military base. It is located at Cessac Bay, Dhekelia, between Larnaca and Ayia Napa. The club runs RYA approved training courses for dinghy-sailing and power-boats, which are open to non-members, (subject to availability of places). Although civilian membership is restricted, non-members owning their own sailing dinghy may participate in our club sailing and racing program. Non-members, who have sucessfully completed one of our sailing courses, may also participate on an ad hoc basis.
