60 Village is located in the Nicosia District of Cyprus. The village lies close to Skouriotissa, Agios Georgios, Katydata and Linou villages.

The village is named after the collection of 60 houses that were built to house the workers from the nearby gold and copper mine. The village was later used to house Greek Cypriot refugees from the 1974 invasion by Turkey.

The village is now abandoned and the houses,which were mainly built with stone, mud, wood, with tiled roofs have fallen into disrepair, unfit for human habitation, as many of the roofs and walls have collapsed.

The land on which the village is built on and the surrounding area, is owned by the Cyprus Greek Orthodox Church. The Church has plans to rebuild the village, and is looking to create homes with a natural, environmentally friendly existence, to compliment the surrounding countryside.

60 Village will be an ideal location to cater for agrotourism, hikers, nature lovers and as soon as the Church has arranged the finance, work will begin on the reconstruction of the village.
