The old watermill and aqueduct, which lies to the west of the village, has recently been renovated. Conservation works of the structure, miller’s house and other buildings were commissioned by the Technical Committee on Cultural Heritage, through the United Nations Development Programme, in July 2015. The conservation works were completed in February 2016 and were fully funded by the European Commission at a total cost of €107,000.
The aqueduct supplied the village with water through a main water tank which was built in 1909 and is still in use today. The water tank supplied other water fountains placed throughout the village at a distance of every 100 metres.
