Avdellero Village is located in the Larnaca District of Cyprus. The village lies close to Athienou, Troulloi, Kellia, Aradippou and Voroklini.

The village dates back to the Ottoman occupation and began as a small village with a population of less than 50 people. The dry terrain of the land surrounding the village made the cultivation of crops very difficult. The villagers survived from rearing large herds of sheep.

The census of 2001 recorded a population of 130 permanent residents, but this has increased in recent times due to the expansion of the road network, which has made travelling to the surrounding villages and cities more convenient.

The main church of Avdellero Village is the Holy Church of the Virgin Mary. The village also has a convent, the Holy Monastery of the Transformation.
