The village lies close to Neo Chorio, Fasli, Drouseia and Kritou Terra villages. Polis is the closest large town, only a short distance of 8 kilometres away.

The history of the village shows that it was inhabited solely by Turkish Cypriot citizens for most it's existence. The name of the village, according to legend, was named after a Greek settler who was the first settler of the village.

Androlikou Village now has a mixed Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot population of around 20 people. The villagers are mostly shepherds, with large herds of goats. The goats supply milk, cheese and meat for the surrounding areas.

The village has many abandoned stone village houses, but sadly a large majority haven fallen into disrepair and are now just ruins. The abandoned houses do however provide some shelter for the goats.

The most distinctive abandoned building still in a reasonable condition is the old Turkish Cypriot school.

The village has electricity and a regular supply of water. The wide streets are also well maintained,  with a covering of asphalt, which allows for easy access around the village.

The quarry nearby the village provides an impressive backdrop to the village.
