Kouklia Paphos

The village lies in the Paphos district, in the south west part of the island. It lies 16 kilometres from Paphos and nearby the birthplace of Aphrodite, the Greek godess of love and beauty.

History

Kouklia has been under the control of the Byzantine Empire, Frankish Era, Ottomans and the British.

Attractions

Kouklia enjoys unspoilt natural beauty, fine views, being on an elevation of 85 metres above sea level, archaelogical sites and the resort of Aphrodite Hills is also nearby.
