Information for Cyprus Expats who are considering bringing their pets into the UK after 01 Jan 2012
The rules for bringing your pet dog, cat or ferret into the UK, will change as from 01 January 2012.
The existing rules apply till this date, more information is available here
Do not leave it too late, make sure that you are aware of the new rules that take effect on 01 January 2012.
The responsibility for your pet meeting all the rules for entering the UK is soley yours. If you do not arrange for your pet to meet all the legal requirements, your pet may not be able to enter the UK, or you may have to put your pet into costly quarantine upon arrival.
