Important information for Expats on E-Forms needed when you are planning on Moving To The UK

Buckingham Palace Guards

E forms are recognised by all EEA member countries. This is a universal system that speeds up your application for benefits in other member countries. You will require different E forms depending on the benefits you are trying to claim.
Details of the forms you are likely to require can be obtained from the relevant institution in your own country. This will normally be your social security office or equivalent. You can get E forms in your native language and can present them in this language abroad. They should be able to advise you on the forms you will need and direct you to further sources of information.
The main types of E form are:
E100 series: for posted workers and entitlement to sick and maternity benefits
E200 series: calculation and payment of pensions
E300 series: entitlement to unemployment benefits; and
E400 series: entitlement to family benefits
E600 series: non-contributory benefits
Within the E300 series, the most common forms are:
E301-Certificate concerning periods to be taken into account for the granting of unemployment benefits.
E303-Certificate concerning retention of the right to unemployment benefits.
N.B. From 01 May 2010, E forms are being progressively phased out and replaced with updated forms.
The International Pension Centre administers E forms for the UK. Telephone: +44 191 218 7777.
