Information on Limassol bus transport for Urban, Rural and Student routes in Limassol and other areas in Cyprus
Old Village School Bus
EMEL is the bus service provider for Limassol. They operate Urban, Rural and Student routes and have just introduced a Limassol - Nicosia route.
There is a ticket colour scheme in operation, whereby there is a different coloured ticket for each day.
Ticket prices for travel in Limassol are €1 for a single route on point to point travel.
A daily route ticket costs €2 and you are allowed to travel to any district in the Limassol area, as often as you like.
Students receive a 50% discount on production of a valid Student ID card.
A weekly ticket costs €10 with 50% discount for Students
Monthly Tickets cost €30 and allows you unlimited travel in Limassol for one month.
Yearly Tickets cost €300 and allows you unlimited travel in Limassol for one year.
Monthly and Yearly tickets are only available with a Passenger Card, which has a lifetime validity. Passenger Cards are only issued by EMEL and applicants must produce a recent photo. There is no charge for the Passenger Card.
