Information for Cyprus Expats on entering Cyprus


European Union nationals may enter Cyprus without registration procedures. This also applies to their family members who are dependants. When entering Cyprus, production of a valid passport or a valid identity card is sufficient to gain entry. The maximum stay using this procedure is 3 months, and there may be no employment involved.

European Union nationals that wish to stay longer in Cyprus, or are about to begin employment, are required to follow other registration procedures.
