Neo Chorio Village is located in the Paphos District of Cyprus. The village lies close to Latchi, Androlikou, Fasli, Drouseia and Ineia Villages.

The village had a long history of being a mixed village, with Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot residents, with the Greek Cypriot comprising the majority of the population. The Turkish Cypriot residents left the village during the troubles on the island and the village now comprises mainly of Greek Cypriots.

The original village was under constant attack from pirates arriving from Turkey and Syria. The villagers decided to relocate the village to it's present location. The new village was called Neo Chorio (New Village) and was built at a height of 800 metres above sea level in order to have a clear view of the Chrysochou Bay. The view enabled the villagers to easily spot the pirates at an early stage, which gave them time to prepare the village defences.

Neo Chorio Village had a regular water supply from a spring, which helped the village to cultivate crops and trees. The main income from the village came from the carob trees, which was named the black gold of Cyprus. The village had many shepherds with flocks of goats and sheep, which produced milk for the production of halloumi, as well as meat for the village.

The main church of the village is the Agios Minas (Saint Minas) Church and is located in the centre of the village. The church was built in 1912 and the village celebrates the Agios Minas Festival on 11 November each year. The Chapel of Saint George is located nearby and was built in the 17th century.

The population of Neo Chorio Village stood at 325 recorded registered permanent residents, with the population now recorded at 75 permanent residents. The fall in the population is a common feature in the villages due to the lack of employment and education opportunities. The lack of school children in the village led to the local school closing and the pupils now travel to school in Polis.

The Baths of Aphrodite, a popular tourist destination, lies close by.
