Pera Pedi Village is located in the Limassol District of Cyprus and lies close to Moniatis, Mandria, Kato Platres, Kouka and Koilani Villages.

Pera Pedi Village is often mentioned in the local Cyprus news as it is the birthplace of Nicos Anastasiades, the President of Cyprus.

The village is built at an average height of 760 metres above sea level. The height of the village allows for a cool refreshing climate during the long hot Cyprus summers, with the village having a cold climate during the winter months, with snow falling sometimes.

The Krios River runs through the village providing a regular supply of water which, enabled the village to prosper with the cultivation of vineyards and apple trees. Pera Pedi Village has a long history associated with wine making and is one of the largest wine producing villages in Cyprus.

The Pera Pedi Village Watermill also made use of the regular water supply and was used to grind olives, grapes and corn. The watermill was still in operation until 1942. The watermill has now been declared a national monument.

Pera Pedi Village dates back to the Byzantine period and acquired it's name from the location of the village. The village is built on a plateau in the middle of a mountainous terrain.

Pera Pedi Village has three churches, with he oldest and most impressive being the Agios Nikolaos Church, which was built in 1796. The other two churches are the Agia Paraskevi Church and the Agios Ioannis The Theologian Church.
