Choli Village is located in the Paphos District of Cyprus and lies close to Skoulli, Tera, Goudi, Karamoullides and Chrysochou villages. Polis is the nearest town and is the main administration centre for the village.

Cholis Village is built at an average height of 180 metres above sea level. The height of the village allows for mild winters, but also means exposure to the long hot summer months.

The climate allos for the cultivation of citrus trees, olive trees, tobacco, with large areas dedicated to the cultivation of vineyards. The grapes are mainly processed for wine, with the surplus either sold in the local markets or used for  the traditional Cypriot sweets of Soutzoukos and Palouze.

Choli Village has always been a relatively small village with the population reaching 46 registered permanent residents, and reaching 83 registered permanent residents in 1946. The Cyprus census of 2001 recorded a total of 69 registered permanent residents, with the total falling today to just 20 registered permanent residents.

The village acquired it's name, according to legend, from the surname of the local ruling feudal family.

The main village church is the Archangel Michael Church and is located in the centre of the village. The church was built in two phases during the 15th century.

The other church in the village is the Panagia Eleousa Church which was built during the 16th century. The church suffered severe damage in the 1953 earthquake which hit the Paphos region. The church was rebuilt by the villagers over a number of years.

The ruins of the Saint Aristos Chapel are located 350 metres north of the village.

The Saint George Chapel and the Saint Maria Chapel are located 325 metres south of the village.
